For those of you who call Melbourne home, you're no stranger to the city's infamous weather. But for our out-of-town guests, here's a little insider tip: Melbourne in November is delightfully unpredictable. It could be:

• cold

• windy

• rainy

• freezing

• a perfect spring day

• unpleasantly hot

...or even all of the above in one day.

Accommodation

Rupert on Rupert is based in Collingwood, an inner-city suburb of Melbourne.

A few guests have already booked accommodation at Quest Collingwood which looks to be the closest hotel to the venue.

If you're looking for alternative accommodation options, hotels or Airbnb’s in the CBD, Abbotsford, Richmond, Fitzroy, and Carlton are all just a short distance away and provide easy access to everything the city offers.

Getting around

Melbourne’s public transport system makes it easy to navigate the city, with trams, trains, and buses running frequently. You'll need a MyKi card to use public transport, which can be purchased at any 7-Eleven store and many other locations around the city.

Cabs and Ubers are also readily available.

Where possible, we recommend guests ride, walk or catch public transport to Rupert on Rupert, as the venue is located in the busy inner city, and there is no onsite parking available. Catching an uber is highly recommended.
